March 11, 2000 - Abdul arrives at the SXSW Web Awards, where he is a finalist in the "Best None of the Above" category.   The winners will be announced at the ceremony.   "Just like
the Oscars!" says Abdul.  He is sure he will win.  Now if someone could only pry him out of the limo.  "I belong in a limo!"  Next

Let the love fest begin!  Abdul is greeted by his hero, John Styn (cockybastard.com)!  Then he meets Martin and Willard of Dazeofourlives.com, a finalist in the humor category.  Everyone is very cool....    Next

   


Even the competition is friendly.  Abdul poses nicely with Edward from ExploreMath.com, his main competition.  "I'm sure you'll win.  Nobody likes math," said Edward.

Abdul proceeds to the special seating area for finalists, where he is hounded by autograph seekers and hangers-on.   Next
