Abdul the Great, news reporter

Abdul arrives at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive and Film Festival.  He's covered the conference before and has decided that he deserves a press pass.  

"I have the right hat," he notes. Next

He goes to the press booth where he convinces the SXSW staff to give him a press pass.  But he is immediately stopped by Kim, who is in charge. "Good try, bear" she says, attempting to take the badge away, until he promises to actually report on the conference.  "Damn, she's a slave driver" he whines.  Next

A press pass gets Abdul into the exclusive Press and Filmmakers Lounge.  "I'm staying here for the whole conference" thinks Abdul until he realizes there is no food.  Then he meets famous movie star, Gary Rosenblatt, who starred in "Class of Nuke 'em High".  "Wow!" says Abdul.  They plan to attend some cool parties.  But first Abdul spies a movie poster.... While getting a drink from the coffee bar in the press lounge, Abdul can't help but notice a movie poster for "Jetblast", which has been banned since September 11th.  There is a screening tonight!  "I read about this in Kelso's column" thinks Abdul, as he grabs his reporter's notebook and hits the road... Abdul attends the underground screening of the fabulous movie "Jetblast".  "Explosions, babes and passenger planes that fight back... I give it four stars!" said the unbiased bear.  As he leaves the theater, our ace reporter fails to notice that this is an entirely different festival from SXSW!  Next page:
