It's now cold and rainy outside, so Abdul does what bears do best: take a nap.
Following the Japanese tradition, he takes off his shoes in the room
(or he would if he wore shoes!) and wears room slippers in the room and bathroom slippers in the bathroom.
 Sometimes he gets them mixed up, but he chalks that up to the "overly complex" etiquette rules.
Actually, he has never been that good at personal hygiene. 
"Like Einstein, I have more important things on my mind!" is his usual excuse.
