Abdul is in Shinjuku, THE place in Tokyo to buy cameras, watches and other good stuff.
Abdul looks at the map to find the camera store he is looking for.
"But I can't read Japanese!" he wails. "What good is this map?"
Like the trooper he is, he manages to find the camera store anyway,
 since he had looked it up on the Internet before he came to Japan. 
And also because he is standing right in front of it.
 With the help of his handy phrasebook, he is able to make his first purchase in Japan. 
"My credit cards work!" he says happily.
